“The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’

Matthew 25:40

Welcome to Basingstoke Night Light Winter Shelter

Basingstoke Night Light Winter Shelter is a pop up shelter providing food and overnight accommodation for rough sleepers.

Basingstoke Night Light Winter Shelter is run by the churches of Basingstoke.

It operates from the beginning of December to the end February each year.

We welcome volunteers of any faith or none to work alongside us in our mission to bring hope during the coldest months of the year.

We work closely with other agencies such as Julian House, Camrose Centre and BDBC. Guests accepted by referral only from one of our partners.

We aim to provide rough sleepers with:

  • Shelter
  • A friendly space
  • Warm, wholesome food
  • Social activities
  • A listening ear
  • Compassion and  understanding
  • Signposts to longer term support

Above all we want to offer our guests hope for a better future.
